Jean’s Bio

Jean was born and raised in Nashville, TN where she lived for 22 years. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from Vanderbilt University in 2004, and her Master of Arts degree from the University of Florida in 2006.

For 10 years Jean worked in business-to-business and business-to-consumer research, analysis and marketing positions in the advertising and financial sectors until she discovered her life purpose and found the courage to follow her dream. Reflecting on her intensive studies in sociology, she realized her true calling was to guide others to create positive change in their lives, and her method of doing this was to become a professional life coach and mentor.

Jean spent her formal schooling focused on studying the external influences on how and why we think and behave the way we do. After developing advanced ideas on how we are conditioned and influenced, Jean then turned inward to begin exploring how we can positively transform our own lives, and the world around us, from the inside out.

Jean is a Professional Certified Life and Leadership Coach (PCLC), an International Coach Federation (ICF) member, a graduate of Coach for Life, an ICF-approved coach-training program, holds a PCC (Professional Certified Coach) credential through the ICF, and completed training through the ICF as a PCC Marker Assessor. Jean is
also a teacher and facilitates coach training programs where she trains life coaches and
is a Mentor Coach for life coaches to earn ICF credentials. She is considered to be among the top 2% of professional coaches.

Jean is also a certified Master Level Reiki practitioner and offers in-person and distance Reiki sessions.

Jean loves spending time with her two dogs, Maximus and Karmann. Together they enjoy long walks in the park and outings to the dog beach. Jean, Maximus and Karmann currently reside in Sarasota, FL. In her spare time, Jean also enjoys crocheting, live music, and all water activities, especially waterskiing, boating, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, fishing and canoeing.
